Outreach

Christian service to others is an overflow of what Jesus Christ has done for us—meeting our greatest need when we needed it most. It is both an act of obedience, a form or worship as well as a sacrifice to bring God's mercy to the world. Here you will find opportunities to use the gifts, talents and time to help the community just outside the church doors.

Pray about getting involved, then join us as we demonstrate the love of Jesus in practical ways.

  • Angel Tree Christmas (An Outreach of Prison FELLOWSHIP)

ANGEL TREE CHRISTMAS gives incarcerated parents a way to provide a Christmas gift and a personal message, delivered by caring, local volunteers, as a tangible representation of their love. Every Angel Tree family is also given access to a free, easy-to-read copy of the Bible.

    Here's how you can help:

    • PRAY: Pray for families of the incarcerated. Their children and their guardians, partners and spouses need God's intervention. These families could use faithful prayer warriors for their salvation and the faith of their children.
    • GIFTS: A present at Christmas represents more than something tangible — it is hope, love and connection to a parent that they cannot be present with.
    • DELIVERY: We partner gifts through personal connection. When we deliver gifts, listen to them, encourage them, and pray for them, you help make an eternal impact. Gifts will be delivered by December 6th to the following communities:
      1. Franklin, NJ (Sussex County)
      2. Harrison, NJ (Hudson County)
      3. East Orange, NJ (Essex County)

We could use your donations, as well as volunteers, to deliver gifts to the families we minister to. Follow the link below to download a suggested list of items to donate. Collection dates will end on Sunday, November 30th. For any questions, see Liz Caputo.
